In this video, I share a training drill to help you improve your rallying skills.

You play 3 backhands, 3 forehands, 2 backhands, 2 forehands, 1 backhand, 1 forehand, 2 backhands, 2 forehands, 3 backhands, 3 forehands and then you work back down to 1 and back up to 3 again.

This drill requires plenty of concentration. It will help you improve your rallying skills, your footwork and your ball placement accuracy.

The footage was filmed at the Bryant & Gertsen training camp at Plymouth Table Tennis Club in October 2021. The instructor is Craig Bryant. The blocker is Stephen Gertsen. The topspin player is Paul Whiting. All three are excellent coaches and all former international players.
