How to recover properly after your serve

Subscribe  Online coaching

In this video, I explain how to do a good recovery after your serve.

Many players (including myself) stay too close to the table, stay too upright and remain planted to the floor. This makes it hard to play a positive attacking shot after serving.

Instead, you should take a step back after serving, stay low, have a little bounce and keep your bat in a neutral position. If you do this good recovery after your serve, you will find it much easier to move quickly and play a strong attacking shot.

Thanks to Daniel Hearne-Potton for the demonstration.
