In this video I explain how to do a variety of different backhand flicks. This is such a useful shot, as it allows you to attack your opponent’s short backspin serves. We start with a basic backhand flick. This is very easy to do and learn, and will be effective at local league level.
Then we look at a more advanced backhand flick, which has much more speed and spin.
We also take a look at the banana flick and the strawberry flick.
And finally we finish with Liam Pitchford’s pro level BEAST backhand flick.
